Synopsis

Danse Macabre is an associative, audiovisual nightmare about war, based on the music of Dmitri Shostakovich. An infinitely large orchestra accompanies a theatrical performance, where muses resurrect an army from the dead with stirring music and lead it to a major confrontation in an apocalyptic culmination of violence and destruction.

Danse Macabre is a critique and and a warning against the sensless and glorified violence that repeats itself through history.
